Pizza à la Yeast Less Dough…for those itching to try something different and delectable ! This beautiful thin and crisp bread base transformed into a gorgeous pizza is sure to leave you salivating !!! besides a high probability of never resorting to store bought bread options, even after the lock-down is a thing of the past….I loaded my pizza with generous amounts of veggies and it was devoured in what felt like nano-seconds !!!

Cook time 30 – 40 minutes

Ingredients for Yeast Free Pizza

( 1 cup=200 ml, 1 tbsp=15 ml)

2 cups Maida (refined flour) plus more for kneading.
2¼ tsp Baking powder
2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
¾th cup Lukewarm milk
2 tbsp Olive Oil

Ingredients for Pizza Topping

(1 cup = 200 ml; 1 tbsp = 15 ml)

1 cup Pizza sauce
½ cup Thinly sliced onions
¼th cup Chopped jalapenos
¼th cup Chopped olives
½ cup Sliced bell peppers
Oregano to season
Chili flakes to season
Olive oil to drizzle
Pizza cheese to grate

Instructions for the Dough

1. Sieve the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together in a bowl.
2. Add milk and knead into a dough.
3. Gradually add the olive oil and knead again until it comes together into a smooth ball.
4. Cover with a damp towel or klin wrap and keep aside for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven into 180°C.
6. After half an hour, take out the dough. Divide into 2 – 3 balls (2 for extra-large pizzas).
7. Roll out into a 12” circle, that’s roughly ¼th inch thick.
8. Prick the centre with a fork and bake in a preheated oven @ 180°C for 5 minutes.

Instructions to assemble the Pizza

1. Take the pre-baked pizza bread. Apply pizza sauce evenly. Add the toppings you desire. Grate the pizza cheese evenly on the pizza. Season with the seasonings. Brush the edges with olive oil.
2. Bake in a preheated oven @ 200°C until its crisp and cheese has melted.
3. Serve immediately.


1. Always preheat your oven 20 – 30 minutes prior.
2.  Feel free to add the toppings on the pizza bread as per your liking.
