With the Christmas festivity in the air and holiday season approaching, it’s time to indulge in easy to make party desserts. Sharing with you all a recipe I learnt in a class a few years ago – A three-layer Toblerone chocolate mousse. This triple chocolate mousse is the dream of every chocolate lover like me. Simple and easy to make the same can be replaced with any rich – dark, milk, and white chocolate slabs such as Lindt, Callebaut etc. 3 layers of this smooth, silky & creamy mousse can be set in a bowl or individual jars. Ingredients for the Toblerone Mousse

(1 cup = 200 ml; 1 tbsp = 15 ml)

100 gm bar Toblerone dark chocolate
100 gm bar Toblerone milk chocolate
100 gm bar Toblerone white chocolate
1½ tbsp Rum (optional)
¾ th cup (¼ th+¼th+ ¼ th) Amul cream
¾ th cup (¼ th+¼th+ ¼ th) Castor sugar
½ + ½ + ½ cup Whipping cream
1½ tsp Vanilla Essence
Chocolate shavings and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions for the Toblerone Mousse

1. Mix the milk chocolate slab with ¼ th cup Amul cream and ¼ the cup sugar. Melt in a double boiler or micro for 1 minute. Mix well.
2. Similar mix the dark and white chocolate with cream and sugar in two different bowls
3. Cool the 3 chocolate mixtures. Add in ½ tbsp. Rum and ½ tsp vanilla essence to each.
4. Beat the whipped cream
5. Fold in ½ cup each to each chocolate mixture
6. Pipe in individual jars or bowls. First the white layer, then the milk layer, followed by dark chocolate layer. Refrigerate for 1 hour
7. Garnish with chocolate shavings and mint leaves
